Mr Muir is notably experienced in the design and installation of deepwater subsea structures (including manifolds, PLEM’s, PLET,s SSIVs, WHPUs), umbilicals, flowlines, pipelines, manifolds, spool pieces, and has experience of diver and ROV intervention activities. He also has significant expertise in the manufacture, fabrication and testing of umbilicals, flexible flowlines, pipelines, risers and rigid riser systems in conjunction with technical and commercial management experience in project management, client liaison, and interfaces with technical and offshore personnel/third party certifying authorities. Mr Muir has a comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications and analytical problem solving techniques coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills gained during a distinguished career spanning 30 plus years in subsea engineering in the North Sea, Middle East, Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, Asia and the Caspian Sea.
